Twinkle Toes: Approx. 3 Months - 20 months

We have a beautiful nursery which provides a home from home environment.  Our nursery is designed to
create a loving, warm, peaceful and secure environment for your baby.
We cater for a maximum of 13 babies / cots in our nursery.

Each baby has their own designated cot and personal drawer.  We provide all the linen and blankets in
order to ensure that the nursery is kept spotlessly clean at all times.  Our cots are sprayed with non-toxic,
baby safe and ecofriendly spray monthly in order to get rid of all dust particles which can cause allergies,
hay fever and asthma etc.  Our babies are only in their cots when it is their sleep time.  We prefer to keep
our babies in the routine that they are used to at home i.e. sleep routine and feeding schedule as this
makes them feel more secure and comfortable from the very beginning of their journey with us.

The indoor play area is totally separate to our nursery area and well equipped to meet their needs. They
can look forward to a large separate outdoor play area as well and we encourage as much outdoor play as possible.

Our baby group is completely separate from our toddlers as age appropriate stimulation and development
is vitally important to us.

We are fully equipped to provide your babies with the correct stimulation in order to ensure that they
develop appropriately as far as their sensory, visual, auditory, gross and fine motor skills are concerned.
We are focused on building each baby’s emotional, social, physical and cognitive skills at the appropriate time.

Our caretakers will do everything in their power to assist your baby’s transition from infant to toddler.
The most important aspect of our daily routine is to ensure that your baby is loved and cared for in a safe environment. Our weekly programme for the nursery will be handed to you and discussed with you in detail.

We provide diaries for our 3 – 6 month old babies. This keeps a record of their feeding and sleeping times.  Any special requests can be discussed should you need us to provide you with any further information.

Above all, we believe that your baby/toddler learns through play.

Daily Activities:

All daily routines are set to give your baby a sense of security and belonging. We assess and meet each baby’s
personal needs.

As your baby’s needs differ our routine is flexible except for their feeding and sleep routines.

Busy Boots Class:  Toddlers

The entire area has been designed with this age group in mind.  We will cater for a maximum of 16 children.
This class will be split into 2 groups with no more than 8 children per group, which will be extremely beneficial
to your child.

There is a separate bathroom area which is designed to assist your toddler in toilet training.  By now your
toddler should be able to put on a few articles of clothing which would also assist them with this transition.
You will also have your own personal locker for toddler’s clothing, toiletries and nappies.

This classroom is designed and decorated for this age group.  They are encouraged to play with other
toddlers, which at this stage is a lot easier for them.  The classroom is designed to encourage their
creative and artistic endeavors, allowing them to express themselves. The teachers and/or caretakers will
provide longer periods of structured activities.

Your toddler will enjoy playing outside at this stage and the classroom leads on to an outdoor play area
which is designed specifically for your toddler’s needs.  Our interior spaces have been colour coded and
scaled to accommodate your child’s needs.  We provide child-height basins and toilets in their separate
bathroom. Their personalized lockers are also scaled accordingly. These are all designed to make your
child feel comfortable and confident in their ability to explore and learn.

Daily Activities:

All daily routines/programmes are set to give the child a sense of security and belonging. A completely different
level of stimulation and teaching is now required to assist them with their development.  Each class has a
daily programme that is child-centered and age-appropriate. These are displayed in each class for parents to
see, as we aim to be as transparent as possible.

We believe in “Learning through Play” and provide fun and games inside and outside the classrooms.
Our play grounds are well-equipped with sturdy climbing frames, covered sandpits and shady areas.
This area is designed to stimulate their gross motor learning and interactive development with their friends.

Their daily activities include puzzles, arts and crafts, messy play, music, Praise and Worship, language
developement, construction play and story time etc.

Toilet Training:

We start toilet training your toddler between the ages of 2 - 2.5 years and would recommend that you do
the same at home. Our goal is to teach the child independence in this regard. Please ensure that you
dress your toddler appropriately for toilet training.    Please do not let them wear one-piece outfits when
they are still being toilet trained.  They should wear pants that can be easily and quickly removed and
pulled up again independently. Pants should not have buckles, zips or buttons. If we work together, it will
be a smooth process.

Pitter Patter Class:    3 - 4 year olds

We cater for a maximum of 15 toddlers in this section.

Our classroom is beautifully decorated in warm and friendly colours. This classroom leads onto an outdoor play
area which is designed specifically for your toddler’s age group. You will also have your own personal locker
for toddler’s clothing, etc.

We assess and meet each child's needs in order to prepare them for their transition into our Running Rovers
Class (4 – 5 year olds).  More time will be spent with each child as an individual as they are older and are
ready for the structure that this class provides.

We encourage children to have an enthusiastic and natural desire to learn. Our curriculum is child-centered
and fun. We encourage them to interact with each other as they partake in group activities.

We use a variety of teaching equipment in this group in order to assist them with fine and gross motor skills,
logic, senses, painting and so much more.  Our Extra Mural activities are also introduced to the children in
this age group.

We follow a “Theme Timetable” which is displayed in this class for parents to see and discuss if necessary.

We are committed to teaching the whole child – emotionally, socially, intellectually, physically and spiritually.
